Adam Balcy (born 1975) is a photographer based in Bielsko-Biała, Poland, working across landscape, mountain, and documentary photography, with a strong focus on authorial interpretation and personal perspective. His practice evolved from early landscape work toward more experimental and staged forms, with portraiture playing an important role, and includes long-term projects such as the photobook Iceland Impressions (2017) and the ongoing documentary series Iron Island, alongside the metaphorical project Immersion created in the North Sea. His work has been exhibited in Poland and the United Kingdom and recognized in international competitions including Travel Photographer of the Year, IPA, and PX3. He has been a member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers (ZPAF) since January 2026.
